Julia Cole is a highly experienced couple counsellor and psychosexual therapist. She is a Relate-trained counselling and sex therapy supervisor providing support to other practitioners. She has a private counselling and psychosexual therapy practice in Hampshire.

Julia is also a freelance writer working for a broad range of national media, including the BBC, and has written a number of books, including “After the Affair” and “Loving Yourself, Loving Another”. She has been an agony aunt for Essentials and The Sunday Express and is currently the sex therapist for SHE magazine. She regularly contributes to national radio and television broadcasts commenting on all aspects of relationship issues.

Dr John Dean trained at The Middlesex Hospital Medical School, London, and practises in London and South Devon, privately and within the NHS. He has provided psychosexual and biomedical care for people affected by sexual problems since 1985 and has run a sexual dysfunction service at Derriford Hospital since 1993, in a urology department-based clinic.

John is interested in all aspects of sexuality, but particularly in arousal disorders (including erectile dysfunction) and sexual desire disorders. He is Secretary of the British Society for Sexual and Impotence Research and a member of the Executive Committee of the European Society for Sexual and Impotence Research. He is also a member of the European Association of Urology, an associate member of the British Association of Urological Surgeons, and a general member and trustee of the British Association for Sexual and Relationship Therapy.

Victoria lehmann
Victoria Lehmann

Victoria Lehmann trained as a nurse at the Middlesex Hospital and specialised in gynaecology, family planning and practice nursing. She qualified as a sex and relationship therapist in 1992 from St George's Hospital, London, and attended the couple therapy course at The Maudsley Hospital. She was also involved at the start of the Sexual Dysfunction Association, previously the Impotence Association.

Victoria became a tutor and supervisor at St George's and started a sexual dysfunction clinic in Sussex in 1995. She currently sees more than 2,000 men a year, the majority of whom are impotent. She also works with men who have ejaculatory disturbance, orientation concerns, and problems with adjustment to sexual activity after illness, surgery and the loss of a loved one.

She completed her certificate in medical education in 2003 and is a lecturer at Sussex University and a module leader for the Masters sexual health programme. She also teaches medical students, GPs and nurses throughout the UK, Europe and the USA. Victoria is vice chair of The British Association for Sexual and Relationship therapy and a member of the Menopause society. She is passionate about the importance of intimacy.

David delvin
Dr David Delvin

Dr David Delvin is a GP, and a specialist in Family Planning and Sexual Medicine. He has written 32 books on family health and sexology. They have been translated into 10 languages, and also published in Braille. He has won the Best Book Award of The American Medical Writers' Association, among other prizes.

David has been medical advisor to many BBC and ITV health programmes, and has made over 900 television appearances. He was medical consultant to ITV's popular The Good Sex Guide, and wrote the book of the series. He has written countless columns for magazines and newspapers, and was Consumer Columnist of the Year in 1986.

In May, he was made a Fellow of the Faculty of Reproductive Health Care of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. Some years ago, he was awarded the Medal of the City of Paris (Silver Echelon) by Jacques Chirac.
